Three Ways To Style A Classic Oxford

Hey everyone! Welcome back, I hope you all had a great weekend!!

If you’re in Houston, I hope you all are safe in your homes and not driving in this crazy weather!! It’s completely flooded outside of my apartment so I won’t be leaving anytime soon. Which is funny because I was already such a homebody all weekend.

Besides going out Friday night with some girlfriends, and a little date to North with Colton on Saturday, I swear I barely left the apartment. We watched so many movies, slept in until almost 11:00 on Sunday and it was just so nice!

I never do that, but I clearly need to recharge my batteries, as my dad would say!

The few times we did leave, I wore my blue striped oxford every time. I bought my oxford my freshman year at Baylor (my roomies & I were kind of obsessed with them) and since then, it has remained a staple in my closet. I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite pieces because it’s easy to style and is timeless!  Because it is such a staple in my wardrobe, I thought I would show you guys my 3 favorite ways to style it!

This is my FAVORITE casual Friday look and probably the look I wear the most. I love it. It’s comfortable and yet I still feel super put together in it at the same. It’s the kind of outfit that you just feel good in. Which is perfect for a Friday!

This is more of a summertime, super casual look, but I am absolutely obsessed with it! Perfect for running errands and grabbing a casual lunch. I can already tell this will be a staple outfit all summer long!

LOOK THREE

This is the look I have been wearing the most recently. I try to not wear a ton of black in the Spring, but I gravitate towards this outfit on the days when it’s dreary outside and I just don’t feel like wearing pastels. It allows me to wear my basic black, but the oxford still gives me the spring vibe.

Which look is your favorite???

xo,

Lauren

  2. I love this post!! I am obsessed with your blog and love following along with you on SnapChat. I was wondering if you could share what it is you use to create your posts with fonts on them. For example, the large collage of the three styles of the Oxford shirt that has the title on it. Also, what you use to create gift guides, etc. I am looking into the blogging world soon and am curious of tips and tricks! Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Nicole,

Oh my gosh, you are so sweet! I am so sorry I am just getting back to you! The theme I use is called Toujours, on WordPress.com, then for my collages I actually make them in an app on my phone called Layout and I create all of my gift guides on photo shop!

      I hope that helps! ❤
